Oden Family Enterprises

Built to Last.
Built on People.
Built in Texas.

Oden Family Enterprises was not built looking for a transaction. We were built the same way Caleb Oden walked onto a Division I football field — with nothing guaranteed, everything earned, and a long-term plan already drawn. We are acquiring service businesses to build something permanent — a portfolio of strong, community-rooted companies that will fund our family's future and honor the legacy the family has built in Central Texas since 1900.

The Foundation

The Same Mentality
That Built Programs
Will Build This Portfolio.

Caleb Oden began his college career as a walk-on — no guaranteed spot, no scholarship, nothing given. He earned a scholarship, was named team captain as a junior, and competed in 30 consecutive games through injuries and adversity. Not because he was the most talented person in the room. Because he outworked every obstacle in front of him and never confused effort with entitlement.

That same discipline is the foundation of Oden Family Enterprises. As an educator, coach, and Division I athlete, Caleb spent years building organizations from the ground up — developing people, installing systems, and creating cultures where accountability is the standard and results follow naturally. He helped athletes earn scholarships and compete at the next level, not by recruiting talent, but by developing it from within — the same way a well-run service business grows its people into its greatest competitive advantage.

In three seasons as an educator and coach, Caleb helped take a program from 3 wins to 30+. Not through shortcuts. Through culture, process, alignment, and the daily discipline of holding a high standard when it would be easier to lower it. Those are the exact same levers that separate a good service business from a dominant one.

We are not buying a business to own a job. We are building something that creates generational wealth for our family and lasting value in every community we serve — the same way the family has called this Texas land home since 1900.

Every acquisition we pursue goes through the same process Caleb used to build winning organizations: earn trust first, protect what works, develop the people, install systems that scale, and execute with the consistency that turns good businesses into great ones.

Walk-On → Team Captain

No guaranteed spot. Caleb earned everything through effort and reliability. Named team captain as a junior. Competed in 30 consecutive games through injury and adversity. Helped athletes earn scholarships and compete at the next level — developed from within, not recruited.

3 Wins → 30+ Win Program

Three seasons as an educator and coach. Culture, process, and alignment — not shortcuts. Caleb built a winning organization from the foundation up. The same framework applies to every business we acquire and every team we inherit.

150+ People Led Daily

Caleb built accountability structures, developed leaders from within, and delivered consistent results under pressure — across the field, the weight room, and the organization simultaneously. A track record, not a credential.

The Family — Since 1900

Central Texas. Blue-collar roots. This family has called this Texas land home since 1900. Long-term thinking is not a strategy here — it is how this family has always lived and always will.

Ownership Model & Structure

How We Operate
the Day After Closing.

Protect What Was Built

The team, customer relationships, vendor contracts, and the reputation earned over decades — all of it stays intact. We never walk in and disrupt what built the business. We walk in, earn trust, and protect the foundation before we build on top of it.

A GM Is in Place. No Exceptions.

Every business we acquire operates under a General Manager from Day 1 — period. If a strong GM is already in place, we retain, invest in, and build around them. If one is not, we identify the most motivated, most respected person within the existing team and elevate them into that role. We do not bring outsiders in to run what insiders built. The GM leads. We support.

Develop People. Retain the Team.

Every tenured team member is a competitive advantage. We invest in the people who know the customers, the routes, and the work — through compensation, structure, and genuine respect. Retention is the strategy. Always.

Grow Deliberately. Hold for the Long Term.

We are building a portfolio of cash-flowing, community-embedded businesses. Every decision we make after closing is built around long-term value — not short-term returns. We are not flipping. We are holding — measured in decades, not deal cycles.

Our ideal business already has leadership and operators in place — people who know the customers and have built trust within the team. We are coming in to protect it, invest in it, and build on top of it.

— Caleb Oden, Founder & Managing Member
Built to Hold, Not to Flip — We acquire businesses with the intent to operate them for decades. Every decision we make post-close is oriented around long-term value — for the customers, the team, and the communities these businesses serve.
Full Deal Underwriting Before Any Outreach — Every deal runs through a complete financial model — SDE, DSCR, debt service, GM cost, reserve requirements, and exit valuation — before we make a single call. We know the numbers before you hear from us.
Capital Confirmed — Not Pending — SBA pre-qualified up to $5M. Down payment capital secured through personal funds and a minimum of $300K in confirmed investor support. We do not pursue deals we cannot close.
Supported by a Network of Professionals — Attorney engaged. Active membership in Acquisition Ace — a vetted network of buyers, operators, lenders, and deal professionals. Advisors who currently own and operate service businesses. This is a supported acquisition.
Growth Philosophy

We Don't Grow by
Replacing People.
We Grow by Developing Them.

Every business we acquire has people who know the customers, the routes, and the work. Our job is to protect that knowledge, invest in those people, and build systems that give them the ability to do their best work every single day.

01
Relationships Before Revenue
The first order of business after any closing is to meet every single team member and every key customer — face to face, on their terms. Revenue follows trust. We earn trust first and protect it at every decision afterward. A business with loyal customers and a committed team is more valuable than any financial model can capture.
02
The Team IS the Business
Tenured technicians, experienced operators, trusted service managers — these are not overhead to be optimized. They are the competitive advantage. We invest in compensation, development, and career paths that keep the best people committed for the long term. The day we lose a great operator to a competitor is the day we have failed at our most important job.
03
Systems That Scale Without Losing Soul
We install processes that give good operators the freedom to do their best work — not bureaucracy that slows them down. Scheduling, dispatch, customer follow-up, financial reporting — these systems should make the job easier, not harder. We build around the people, not in spite of them.
04
Consistency Compounds
Every great service business is built on the same thing: showing up on time, doing the work right, and treating customers the way they want to be treated. We do not overcomplicate it. We hold the standard daily — and that discipline builds value year over year over year. Decades of consistency is a moat that no private equity rollup can buy.

For Sellers

What Every Seller
Deserves to Hear
Before They Sign.

Building a business takes years. Selling it should not feel like losing it. We understand that handing over a business you built — with a team who counts on you, customers who trust you, and a reputation earned over decades — is one of the most significant decisions you will make.

Our commitment is simple: we will treat your business with the same respect you gave it on the day you started it. The team stays. The culture stays. What you built stays — and we build on top of it.

We are not a private equity rollup looking for a quick exit. We are a family holding company with a generational time horizon. When we buy a business, we are buying it to keep.

1

We Honor What You Built

We study your business before we ever reach out. When we call, we already know your revenue history, your customer base, and what makes your operation difficult to replicate. We don't waste your time — and we don't lowball people who built something real.

2

Your Team Is Protected

The people on your team on Day 1 will still be there on Day 90. We do not restructure, replace, or reduce. We invest in the team you built — because they are the business. That is a promise we make at LOI and honor at closing.

3

Clean Process. Fast Close.

SBA pre-qualified. Capital confirmed. Full underwriting complete before we reach out. We do not re-trade. We do not create surprises in due diligence. If we send an LOI, we intend to close it — and we have the capital and the relationships to do exactly that.

4

Transition on Your Terms

We work with sellers to structure a transition that protects what matters most — your customers, your team, and your legacy. Whether that is a 30-day handoff or a 12-month overlap, we build the schedule around what actually serves the business.
